Description
This Hunter Valley Chardonnay was crafted using grapes sourced from various locations across the Pokolbin region, each with its distinct microclimate that contributes to the blend’s unique personality. On the nose, there is a delightful mix of citrus, white stone fruit, subtle oak spice, and a touch of complexity from the solids. The palate is bold, with excellent fruit intensity and a textured mid-palate, finishing with a soft acidity. This medium-bodied Chardonnay has been awarded 93 points by James Suckling and is a classic example of a modern Hunter Valley wine. It pairs well with a variety of dishes, including seafood and chicken, but is equally enjoyable on its own. While it is best consumed young, it can also be cellared for up to five years.
