Description
A perfect example of a premium Hunter Chardonnay. Freshness, fruit, dry acidity and slight oak. Positioned as a close relative to Tyrrell’s flagship Vat 47 Chardonnay (96pts), some of the vineyards favourite blocks were selected for this wine. The nose is citrus with a slight hint of oak, the palate is weighted and generous and has the texture and complexities associated with time on lees. A rich and fresh Chardonnay, with subtle cream undertones, making it a perfect companion to chicken or pasta dishes. Excellent drinking now and will continue to develop in complexity with some further bottle age.
