A vibrant and fruit-driven Chardonnay that captures the generosity of the Blackwood Valley, balancing freshness with a gentle, creamy indulgence. This is a wine that feels both approachable and thoughtfully crafted, offering immediate charm with a touch of quiet complexity.  In the glass, it shows a bright straw hue, fresh and luminous. The nose is expressive and inviting, opening with a burst of ripe orchard fruits – apple and pear – layered with nectarine and honeydew melon, alongside soft hints of butterscotch and vanilla.  The palate is generous and textural, where fresh fruit takes centre stage, supported by a creamy mid-palate that adds softness and depth. Subtle oak influence weaves through notes of salted caramel and toffee, bringing structure and a gentle richness without overpowering the fruit. A line of fresh acidity carries the wine through to a clean, lingering finish that invites another sip.  Crafted from Tweed River vineyard fruit, harvested in the cool of night and gently handled to preserve freshness, the wine is fermented across a combination of stainless steel and older oak to build complexity while maintaining purity. The result is a Chardonnay that feels both lively and harmonious.  A beautiful match for seafood, creamy pastas or roast chicken.  Drinking beautifully now for its freshness and charm, with the balance to evolve gracefully over the medium term.
