A refined and beautifully composed Reserve Margaret River Shiraz that balances intensity with elegance – a wine that speaks to both structure and finesse, crafted from a select parcel of the estate’s finest fruit.  In the glass, it shows a deep, vibrant red hue. The nose is expressive and complex, revealing dark berries layered with black pepper, clove and a touch of cedary oak, offering both warmth and sophistication.  The palate is rich yet poised, where intense blue fruits take centre stage, supported by notes of cracked pepper, spice and a hint of mocha. Despite its depth of flavour, the wine remains medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, with fine tannins and a seamless structure that carry through to a long, polished finish.  A portion of whole bunch fermentation adds lift and complexity, while maturation in French oak hogsheads – including a proportion of new oak – brings depth, texture and quiet refinement. The result is a Shiraz that combines seriousness with effortless drinkability.  A perfect match for roasted meats, grilled lamb or dishes with warm spice. Drinking beautifully now with decanting, and will continue to evolve over the next decade, where further savoury and textural complexity will unfold.
