Sourced from a small selection of Tyrrell’s finest Semillon vineyards across the Hunter Valley, many of which are dry-grown and averaging around 40 years of age, this wine captures the distinctive freshness and longevity for which the region is renowned.  Harvested in the cool of the night to preserve delicate aromatics, the fruit is gently pressed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks, ensuring clarity and purity of varietal character. A short period on yeast lees follows, adding subtle complexity and a refined textural element while maintaining the wine’s hallmark brightness.  Displays a pale straw hue with lifted aromatics of fresh citrus unfolding alongside delicate floral notes. Vibrant aromas of lemon, lime and subtle blossom create an inviting and energetic bouquet that speaks clearly of the Hunter Valley style.  The palate is medium-bodied yet intense, revealing layers of crisp citrus fruit supported by lively natural acidity. The texture is precise and focused, with the brief lees contact adding gentle roundness while the wine’s brisk acidity carries the flavours through a long, refreshing finish.
