A true Margaret River classic, this Cabernet Sauvignon embodies the region’s hallmark depth, elegance, and balance. Sourced from multiple vineyard blocks across the estate and treated individually before blending, it showcases precision and character in equal measure. Matured for 14 months in older French oak, the wine allows pure fruit expression to take centre stage, supported by fine structure and subtle complexity. Deep red in colour with aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, and spice, complemented by dusty oak and earthy undertones. The palate is soft yet powerful, filled with black fruits, gentle spice, and fine tannins that glide into a long, satisfying finish. Elegant and harmonious, it reflects both variety and region with confidence. An ideal match for grilled red meats, venison, or slow-roasted lamb. It also pairs beautifully with aged cheddar, truffle dishes, or mushroom-based pastas, where its depth and structure truly shine. Cellared to perfection now, but built to evolve even further, rewarding patience with added richness and complexity.

CHURCHVIEW
14.5
Churchview is a family-run estate with deep roots in the Margaret River region, named after the heritage-listed St Johns Anglican Church that still watches over the vineyards today. The land itself has seen generations of settlers and growers, each leaving their mark — from early 1920s dairy farmers to the father-and-son team, Spike and Raymond Fokkema, who planted their first vines here in 1999.
With its fertile gravelly loam soils, clean water, and north-facing slopes, Churchview has grown into a thriving 100-hectare property with 56 hectares under vine and 16 varieties in play — each cultivated, crafted, and cherished with care.
Over the years, they’ve taken their stewardship of the land seriously, transforming a once-conventional farm into a fully certified organic vineyard (certified 2020) — a testament to their long-term vision and respect for nature.
