Description
From the amazing team at Churchview Wines in Margaret River we a bring you this top quality, robust and powerful red blend with great depth of colour, rich tannins and ripe, full flavours. Add to that a 2018 vintage hailed as one of the greatest for reds in the region and you can be sure of looking at something exceptional. An expertly blended combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot in true Bordeaux fashion, where the four distinct grape components of ripe fruit, their acidity and beautifully melded oak maturation gives a harmonious complex and quite intense round mouthfeel that lingers. Deep red core with youthful tinges of purple edges and fragrant aromas of black fruits and sweet oak nuances. This is a very youthful, tightly woven wine that reveals its core of black fruit flavours that are intense, striking and demand attention. The flavours slowly evolve with ripe tannins dominating a dry, full-bodied and very long finish. Released to drink but will continue to develop for at least another 6-8 years. Serve with a great and salty steak, garlic roasted lamb or pan-fried duck, accompanied by potato gratin or a creamy mash.
