A deep and compelling Shiraz that captures both intensity and finesse – shaped by a warm, dry vintage that delivered beautifully ripe, concentrated fruit. This is a wine that balances power with polish, offering a layered and confident expression of style.  In the glass, it shows a deep red hue, rich and inviting. The nose is fragrant and expressive, opening with ripe red fruits that hint at the depth to follow.  The palate is bold and structured, revealing layers of dark red fruits – cherry and plum – interwoven with spice and a finely tuned tannin profile. There is both richness and precision here, with the fruit and structure moving seamlessly together, leading into a long, savoury finish that lingers with warmth and quiet intensity.  Matured for 18 months in new French oak following fermentation, with malolactic fermentation occurring in barrel, the wine gains both depth and refinement. Each barrel is carefully assessed over time, with only the highest-rated selected for this final release – a reflection of craftsmanship and attention to detail.  A perfect partner for grilled meats, slow-cooked dishes or richly spiced cuisine, while equally rewarding when enjoyed slowly on its own.  Drinking beautifully now with decanting, and will continue to evolve gracefully over the next decade, where further softness and complexity will emerge.
