FOOD PAIRING
? ? From the vineyard that already supplies our bestselling Ros? bubbles, we now also offer this exceptional, multi-award-winning 2013 Cuv?e Ros?. The beautiful Taltarni vineyard in the Pyrenees wine region of Victoria was established some 50 years ago, after being discovered by John Goelet, a direct descendant of the Guestier wine merchant family of Bordeaux, in a worldwide search for a site comparable to the great vineyards of Bordeaux. And from this exceptional site, Taltarni consistently produces wines of elegance and balance that uniquely express the terroir of this picturesque region, while also proudly implementing environmentally friendly practices that will ensure the long-term quality of their grapes.
The French traditions for methode traditionnelle sparkling wines are obviously very famous, and at Taltarni they have taken on this tradition at the heart of their winemaking and with exceptional success.
This very special 2013 Cuv?e Ros? has indeed collected more accolades than any other wine in our range, including Gold and Best in Class at the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships 2018?Trophy and Blue Gold at Sydney International Wine Competition 2018 and Gold at Perth Royal Wine show 2018.
From an ideal growing season at Taltarni Estate Vineyards, the wine is salmon in colour, with aromas of brioche and rose water lifting from the glass.
This pairs perfectly with the bright red berry flavours on the palate that are accentuated with a strawberry acid. The driving length of this dry acidity is balanced with a light cream weight that fills the mouth.
Already cellared to perfection but will also age well for another 5-10 years.
Pairs beautifully with oysters, prawns, sushi and fresh seafood, creamy brie style cheeses and charcuterie boards.
TASTING NOTES

Taltarni’s latest wine collection, The Dynamic Range, takes inspiration from the environment surrounding the vineyards where the grapes are grown, resulting in wines that are more fruit-forward and refreshing compared to traditional varieties. The 2020 Dynamic Chardonnay has a brilliant straw color and delightful aromas of stone fruit, citrus, and flinty oak. On the palate, the wine showcases vibrant fruit with subtle oak and lees complexity, supported by a pleasant natural acid that drives the length of the creamy and textural palate. This wine’s regional characteristics from the Pyrenees and other Victorian cool climate vineyard sites make it unique. Although it is already enjoyable to drink, it can be cellared for up to seven years.
