Drawn from the estate’s historic Pyrenees vineyards — established over 50 years ago after a global search for a site comparable to the great vineyards of Bordeaux — this wine reflects both the pedigree of its origin and the precision of its making. Produced from all six of Taltarni’s core red varieties grown on the estate, this release showcases the winery’s commitment to elegance, balance and sustainable viticulture. Previously reserved for domestic release only, it is a privilege to share this wine more widely thanks to our long-standing relationship with the winery. In the glass, the wine opens with rich blueberry aromas and delicate spice. The palate is generous and driven by flavour, delivering layers of intense plum and cassis framed by subtle oak and clove. Full-bodied yet composed, it finishes long and smooth, with soft, lingering tannins that give both structure and grace.
