FOOD PAIRING
A fresh vintage of Taltarni’s bestselling Sauvignon Blanc, this T Series release is crafted in a distinctly dry, French-inspired style. True to the Taltarni philosophy of elegance and balance, it brings together fruit from Victoria and Tasmania to capture both freshness and depth, while staying firmly rooted in a sense of place and thoughtful winemaking. The wine is aged on lees with regular bâtonnage, building texture and subtle complexity, before spending time in oak to add depth and a lingering finish. On the nose, vibrant tropical and fresh fruit aromas immediately emerge, inviting and expressive without excess. On the palate, flavours of lime, passionfruit and white peach are carried by natural, dry acidity, delivering clarity, drive and impressive persistence. There’s an unexpected depth here — refined yet full of flavour — with the textural elements adding polish and length without overshadowing the wine’s freshness. An excellent match for fresh seafood and soft cheeses, where its acidity and texture truly shine. A modern, expressive Sauvignon Blanc — crisp, layered and quietly sophisticated, showcasing why this wine remains a Taltarni favourite.

TALTARNI
12.5
Taltarni’s story begins with place — in the rugged, breathtaking Pyrenees of Victoria, where the land has been sculpted over millennia and treasured for more than a century of winegrowing. Established in 1969 by John Goelet — a descendant of the famed Guestier wine merchant family of Bordeaux — Taltarni was born from a global search for a site worthy of the world’s great vineyards.
With a pioneering spirit, the earliest plantings focused on classic Bordeaux varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The vineyard later expanded to include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier — building the foundations for a diverse and dynamic portfolio of sparkling, red and white wines that continue to reflect the strength of this remarkable region.
Here, stewardship matters. As custodians of this land for the last 50 years, the Taltarni team continues a multi-generational commitment to nurture the soil, preserve the landscape, and create wines that speak clearly of their origin — vibrant, elegant and enduring.
In the cellar, tradition and innovation share the same table. Whether it’s a refined sparkling, a bright white, or a bold Pyrenees red, Taltarni crafts wines with structure, freshness and personality — made for enjoyment, for bringing people together, and for celebrating the simple pleasure of good wine well made.
Born of place. Crafted with purpose.
