Founded in 1858, Tyrrell’s remains one of Australia’s oldest and most respected wineries, with a proud history of crafting beautifully balanced, well-aged Tawny styles. This Special Aged Tawny is made from a carefully selected blend of grape varieties and matured in oak for between five and ten years. In the glass, it shows warm amber-brown hues and excellent clarity. The nose is rich and inviting, with raisin and dried fruit notes lifted by a gentle spirit warmth. On the palate, a complex mix of fruity flavours unfolds, offering generous sweetness balanced by bright acidity. Rich fruit depth carries through to a long, smooth and harmonious finish, delivering the comforting, traditional character expected of a quality Tawny.
