A classic expression of Barossa Shiraz shaped by both history and thoughtful vineyard sourcing – with the 2023 vintage delivering richness, warmth and unmistakable regional character.  The Valley & Valley Shiraz draws fruit from vineyards across both the Barossa Valley and the cooler Eden Valley, blending the plush generosity of the valley floor with the freshness and structure of hillside sites. The result is a wine that captures the classic Barossa style — generous fruit, subtle oak and smooth, rounded tannins.  Carefully harvested, crushed and destemmed before fermentation, the fruit undergoes gentle extraction with regular pump-overs over seven days to maximise colour, flavour and varietal depth. The wine is then matured in American oak for up to twelve months, lending warmth, spice and structure while allowing the richness of the fruit to shine.  Displays a deep crimson hue with inviting aromatics of concentrated red and blue fruits unfolding alongside notes of dark chocolate and mocha. Gentle hints of spice and cedary oak add complexity and depth while preserving the wine’s vibrant Barossa fruit character.  The palate is rich and expressive, revealing layers of ripe berry fruit supported by subtle oak and warming spice. A supple structure with soft, rounded tannins carries the flavours with balance and length, resulting in a Shiraz that is both generous and effortlessly drinkable.  A natural partner for grilled meats, slow-roasted lamb, hearty pastas or rich comfort dishes. Drinking beautifully now while offering the structure to develop further savoury complexity over the coming years.
