Whistler Wines are back with another great wine, and now with new branding and labelling each telling their own unique story. The latest addition to their collection is the Divergent SMG, which deviates from the norm by featuring Shiraz as the dominant varietal in the blend, rather than Grenache. This results in an great value red wine that is easy drinking, yet exceeds expectations in terms of quality. The Shiraz component provides a delightful blue fruit flavor and excellent depth, while the Mataro contributes to the wine’s structure and earthy character. Additionally, the Grenache adds a burst of juicy red fruits to the mix. This wine is a fantastic choice for a BBQ and can be enjoyed chilled during warmer months. It is suitable for immediate consumption, but it can also be aged for 5+ years.
